I had a customer that fell in love with one of my new dyed yarns, named Haight for the famous Summer of Love street in San Francisco, but didn't want socks. We agreed on fingerless gloves, and I chose a pattern that was single ribbed, with a feather and fan pattern on the back of the hand. They turned out great, fit nicely with the single rib, and the rather busy dye pattern still shows off the knitting pattern. I'll use this pattern again.
I got a present in the mail from a friend who thought I needed these little sock-shaped needle protectors, and she was right. I can put all four of my size one needles in the holders, and they fit just right. What a great idea! Thanks, Diane.
